A message from your Evidence Based Birth® InstructorsThe Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class is a comprehensive class that will prepare you for your birth--no matter the unexpected twists and turns it may take! In this four-week series, we'll meet in person for the first and last meeting, and over Zoom for the other two classes. Between our weekly meetings, you'll watch videos to learn even more!
Topics we'll explore:
$350 Grants available for those with financial constraints Next Class SeriesMarch 1 - March 22
In-person on 3/1 & 3/22, Zoom on 3/8 & 3/15 Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 PM Provo Q & AWhat makes the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class unique?
In this class, not only will you learn about what to expect during labor and birth and comfort measures, you'll also learn about evidence based care and how to advocate for yourself or your partner. Unfortunately, there is a 15-20 year gap between the time that new research is published and when it becomes standard practice in healthcare. By taking this class, you can skip the evidence-practice gap and advocate for evidence based care during your birth, now. Why do I even need to take a childbirth class? With so much information available on the internet, it may seem like a childbirth class is a waste of time. But how do you know which information is trustworthy? The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class is the most up-to-date class, with thoroughly-vetted information, so you know you're preparing for your birth with reliable information. Taking the class also gives you opportunities to ask your personal questions about the information you learn with an experienced instructor. What if finances are a concern? As with all Summit Birth Utah services, grants are available for those with financial constraints. Apply here. Questions about the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class?I'm happy to answer them!
